The biggest harm from the study The biggest harm that was experienced in the study is the intense stress that is experienced among the participants in which may have long-term effects on them. Also, another harm is where the participants are led to the belief that they are the ones responsible to administer a shock to the real people in which they didn't know that the learner was an associate of the Milgram's. Benefits The benefits from the experience fall on the experiment's reliability, in that from the study, the same results are obtained from the two distinct repeats. Since the experiment was done distinctively, we see that similar results are obtained, and automatically this shows that the study was much reliable.
